01 /Make a simple function-by-function record
Write down whether the display, oven light, surface zones, Bake and Broil respond during normal use. Do not run every function merely to test a suspected fault; record what is already known. State whether one zone fails or all zones are affected, and whether the oven stops during a cycle. A partial failure helps describe the concern, but it does not establish a particular switch, element, supply or control-board diagnosis.
02 /Use the model to distinguish cooking technologies
The surface may use coils, radiant glass or induction, while oven functions vary by design. Supply the complete model number and mention any convection feature relevant to the complaint. On induction models, include cookware details when a zone reports that no pan is present. For oven results, note the mode and rack position. Avoid assuming that advice for a gas range or another electric design applies to this appliance.
03 /Leave the installed range and restraints in place
Do not slide the range out to inspect wiring or remove an anti-tip restraint. Describe the surrounding cabinets, floor transition and access to the front. Tell us if the appliance was recently installed or moved, so those facts can be considered during inspection. Household circuit repair and gas conversion are outside the assumed appliance task. Cracked glass, uncontrolled heat or a burning smell should be reported without further cooking attempts.
04 /Review a repair decision across the whole appliance
If more than one function is affected, ask whether the estimate addresses all reported symptoms or only a particular issue. Keep a record of previous work and explain any remaining problem. Parts availability, model acceptance and safe access may influence what work can proceed. A requested date is not a guaranteed completion window. The written estimate identifies the components included in the proposed repair. Approval follows a written estimate for the diagnosed work.
05 /Plan service within the confirmed California ZIPs
ChantaFix is based in Glendale for California service. Check the property's ZIP against the 33 owner-confirmed working ZIPs, then describe the physical address, parking and appliance access. A listed ZIP is an eligibility match, not a reserved visit or acceptance of every address. Tell us if someone else must authorize work before an estimate can be approved.
06 /Diagnostic visit and repair approval
You receive a written estimate before repair work begins. Workmanship coverage is 90 days for the repaired issue; replacement parts follow manufacturer warranties. Use the California contact controls to discuss the appliance and request availability.
